Can I speak to you privately?

It's funny how secretive a 7 year olds can be. My parents were over for a visit yesterday and Madeline asked if she could speak to me privately. The request was acceptable so we went in the other room. It's funny how a few years ago she would have just blurted out the question she asked me but for some reason she was either embarrassed or she didn't want to hurt Grammie and Papa's feelings. Either way, it just added to the idea that my baby is growing up. Too bad Meike is always embarrassing her :).
