We are over half way done with the year! It has gone fast. Maddy just completed Helen Keller. We really enjoyed the unit. This week we will spend a little time learning about Louis Braille and about braille before we move onto
The Cricket in Time Square. I also have a super membership to
Hands of A Child and this months free member unit is Helen Keller! I'm planning on letting Maddy go through the unit when it comes out.

We will also be incorporating
Storybook Art and
Discovering Great Artists. Storybook Art has a lesson for Owl Moon. The illustrations in Little Nino's Pizzeria is similar to Henri Matisse and Discovering Great Artists has an art project based on Matisse!
